ASL/English Interpreter Education Projects
Stephanie Feyne, CI, CT, CSC, BFA is an RID Certified Interpreter, an interpreter educator since 1982, an instructor in the Interpreting Theater Institute at Julliard, and has interpreted and presented in the US and abroad.
Carole Lazorisak, CDI, RSC, ASLTA, MA is an RID Certified Deaf Interpreter, holds ASLTA certification (Professional level), and, since 1974, worked as a deaf interpreter, interpreter educator, interpreting consultant, and presenter nationally and internationally.
Mary Darragh MacLean, CSC, CI, MS, has been an RID certified interpreter since 1984, an interpreter educator since 1992, a presenter nationally on Deaf and Hearing team interpreting, and a conference interpreter and interpreter coordinator of national and international conferences.
Cathleen M. Markland, CI, CT, CSC, MS, has been an RID certified interpreter since 1986, an interpreter educator since 1993, a presenter nationally on interpreting process models, and she holds a Masters degree in Teaching Interpreting.
Jason Norman, MA, is an ASL advisor & translation consultant in the Julliard Interpreting for Theater Institute and for TDF Broadway interpreted shows. He is completing a second MA in Teaching ASL as a Foreign Language at Columbia University-Teachers College.
Debbie Olsen, CI & CT, BS is a RID certified interpreter, received a BS in ASL/English Interpretation, is currently finishing an MA in Linguistics, and is the Manager/Trainer at the Manhattan VRS Center - Sorenson Communications.
David Rivera, ASLTA, MA, has been an ASL instructor since 1997, received a BA in ASL Studies and an MA Degree in Deaf Education, is ASLTA certified, and is a national presenter on ASL Classifiers.
Lynnette Taylor, CSC, BFA, has been an RID certified interpreter since 1978, an interpreter educator since 1998, a national presenter on ethical decision making for interpreters, and an instructor in Julliard’s Interpreting Theater Institute.
